Version 5 was introduced this year as an interim step to provide valuable functionality such as digital x-ray and paperless office solutions. As well, Version 5 addresses 1 GB memory issues, which were present in Version 4.

It has been brought to our attention that those of you using Digital X-Rays, intra-oral cameras or on-screen Clinical Charting in your current systems are having difficulty accessing a patients images from different workstations.

Version 5 eliminates this issue. Images and clinical charting can be viewed from both the Dental Works as well as the Scheduler. Therefore, a clinician in the operatory would access this from the patient appointment while the receptionist can access this from Dental Works F9 Info tab at the same time.

Version 5 was released late this summer as a final release before Cor is introduced in 2008.  Version 5 positions the dental practice to use technologies such as digital x-ray  and charting to create a paperless office solution. [ More ]
